MEET THE CREATORS OF CORE RHYTHMS
Julia Powers - 12 Times US Rhythm Champion

Julia and her husband Bob Powers are the 12 times undefeated and US Rhythm Champions as well as 3 times World Mambo Champions. They were also finalist in the World Showdance Championships. They have won more US titles than any other couple in the history of American ballroom dancing.
They have taken American Style dancing to new levels with their innovative choreography and athletic approach.
The two travel constantly throughout the US and abroad lecturing, competing and performing. They have toured and performed in China, Germany, Japan, Holland, France, England, Russia, Mexico, and Canada.
They are known for their power and speed achieved through a strong fitness regimen. Through various fitness programs including Ballet, Yoga and Pilates they have developed a strong knowledge of core strength conditioning.


Jaana Kunitz - 10 Times International Latin Champion

Jaana and her husband James started their dynamic partnership by competing, performing and choreographing all over the world. They have been featured in many major corporate events, industrial shows, dance companies, productions, music videos and movies. They are known for their creative and unique approach to Latin Dancing incorporating a real and present day feel into a traditional style art form creating a cutting edge look.
They are one of the most televised DanceSport couples in the world. Their appearances Include PBS “Championship Ballroom Dancing”, NBC “DanceSport Series”, Goodlife TV, ESPN, Ole Suzanna, and many, many more. They were also finalists on the hit movie “Dance with Me” starring Vanessa Williams.
Through a constant physical training program including Yoga, Pilates, Hip Hop, and Ballet they have gained a strong knowledge of fitness and strength conditioning.
